The New Standard in Wire Management Systems

LUCI molding is a wooden baseboard molding which serves the same purpose as standard molding. It is installed to conceal the area where the wall and the floor meet, wrapping around while unifying every room and creating a 3-Dimensional depth to your home.
Standard baseboard molding is flimsy, often curves and becomes wavy creating an uneven appearance in the room. LUCI molding is much larger in size, creating a thicker and taller baseboard which adds beauty, definition, and character to the entire home.
LUCI Molding Design
LUCI molding differs from other molding due to it’s grooved-out channel on the inside of the molding which conceals all the wiring with its beautiful solid wood finish.
LUCI molding also has patent cut out locations on the upper part of the baseboard molding which houses a communication port. With communication ports throughout your home LUCI molding gives access to any service or wiring you may need, for example, Phone, Internet, Satellite/Cable TV.

“LUCI is designed to share your Internet, TV and Phone Service throughout your home.”

LUCI Q&A

What is the standard setup for LUCI in a common Household?

LUCI is designed to share your Internet, TV and Phone Service throughout your home. The standard plate houses two RJ45 connectors. One supplying internet as a LAN (Local Area Network) the other distributing 4 independent phone lines for current or future use. The other standard connection located in the middle is an RG6 coaxial cable used to distribute Cable TV or Satellite service throughout your home.

How exactly does LUCI Molding work?

LUCI molding allows you to run wires all around the bottom of your walls, and then they are concealed with our patent LUCI Molding which comes in a natural wood color and can be painted. We then create a cut out in the molding every few feet and install a bracket to hold the wiring. The cut outs are then covered with a matching wooden cap to create a seamless look to the LUCI molding.

Where do the wires lead to?

The wires all lead into a discreet location likely a closet, in a prime location. There is a wall mounted box installed to conceal all the wiring, we also run TV, Phone and Internet source into that location and then create a network by installing a splitter for your TV service and custom patch panel specifically designed to take your phone line and split it throughout the house.

How long will it take to install LUCI on an average size home?

Every install is unique and is done with precision; Every application varies once we have the layout and your exact specifications and demands we give you an estimate on how long it will be finished.

Am I limited to how many jack/locations I can have installed?

We install two locations per room. However we recommend the more wires you wish to have the taller the molding should be. We have molding in 4″, 6″, 8″.

Can I have LUCI installed by someone else?

LUCI must be installed by LUCI certified installers, our install offers a one year guarantee on installation, and your first service call, within a year, is free of charge. We have installed LUCI in thousands of apartments throughout New York City, and each one has given us positive feedback.

What is wrong with wireless networking?

Wireless networking has exploded into the industry, has taken over but there are many downsides to wireless technology that are not mentioned. People can access anything wireless, whether it be internet, they can tap into your computer and access your information without you knowing. Wireless has many flaws to consider it safe and reliable. This is why all companies still use wired networking. Just like a standard Local Area Network at your job LUCI is based on the same schematics. There is a home run wire to the centralized network location. That means there is a dedicated wire for each communication port, giving you the convenience and ease to add hardware instantly.

Why is baseboard molding needed?

Baseboard molding is the finishing touch to a room. It conceals the seam were the wall and floor meet. You can have beautiful flooring and a smooth coat of paint but your room will look incomplete without a baseboard.

What makes LUCI different from other baseboard?

LUCI molding is larger in size (both thickness and height). Most moldings are cheap and skinny, made of cheap materials. LUCI is solid wood which can be painted any color you want. But what really makes LUCI unique is that it has a channel grooved on the inside to allow wiring to be passed through and conceal them between LUCI and the wall. LUCI then has its custom patent cut openings on the top portion of the molding which houses a mounting plate (5″W x 1″H). This mounted plate then holds a female coaxial butt connector in the middle, and 2 RJ45 female jacks on each side, one for high-speed internet the other for telephone service.

Can I run Electrical cables through LUCI molding?

You are not allowed to run any type of wiring that have voltage passing through it. For Example BX, Power adapters, etc.
